Artist's Comments
I designed my friend Ulrika's costume (she's the one that models for most of my paintings) after my painting A Thought Made Flesh. Which meant I had to do a fake ripped-off latex face, some grisly latex bits for her face, as well as a pretty mask in papier mache she could wear over the dress. To this, I did her hair in a very fancy style and she borrowed a dress I made some years back - in the end, she looked like a grisly kind of noble lady, I loved it.
