This is Tneme. Tneme used to be the god of Enslavement, some time ago. He was born as the result of a very unholy union - the God of Pain had raped the Goddess of Freedom.
As Tneme grew up, he came to realise that the true god of slavery was not /him/, but rather the chains that hid inside his veins. They played him like a puppet. Forcing him to do things he would rather not have. They writhed and twisted inside of him and the pain of resisting them was unbearable. Eventually, he managed to plea to his mother for aid, and she forced the chains out of him (though they found a new host, eventually). Tneme was god, no longer, after that. He lost his powers and his home - forced to leave the world where he was born.
Lonely, bitter, and with a broken heart, he sits on a swing in the woods, contemplating the loss of his life and childhood.
I haven't ever seen anything so beautiful and mysterious and inspiring picture at the same time. It's like adventure through imagination and puzzle of deepest severs of the mind and beautiful... oh so beautiful...
Wow... Absolutely amazing. This caught my eye as a thumbnail and I wasn't disappointed! Looks like something right out of final fantasy. I love it!
Slight critique-- The lighting on his lower right leg makes it look like the leg was pasted on to the picture. And where exactly is the ground? It looks as if the swing is rather high off the ground.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Please FULL VIEW all these amazing pieces of ART. Visit the artists pages and give them a :+fav and your support. Thank you for taking the time........
